New Europe are a company which do free walking tours around cities in Europe, I have been on 6 of these now and I have loved everyone, even if they don’t take you in places it is worth it as they show you around the city and give you an insight to the history behind it.

They work on a tips basis, but obviously you don’t have to tip if you don’t think it is worth it. They are only in certain cities and they have a website http://www.neweuropetours.eu/ with all their details on. Most hostels in the city will have their brochures and they will tell you where the tour begins and at what time. I love these tours and will try and go on every single one they offer! They also do a pub crawl in every city they do a free walking tour in.
These pub crawls are every day of the week and are amazing value for drinks (in most cities) as you pay on average €13 for a guided tour of the pubs, this usually gets you into a club at the end, a free drink at the beginning and a free shot in every bar they take you to when you buy a drink. These pub crawls are also a great way to see the city at night and also to meet like minded travellers.
